For our members, we’ll likely be the first call they make at the onset of illness or injury. If it could be treated by a routine office visit or a trip to an urgent care center, SwiftMD is an excellent alternative.

When a member schedules a televisit, he or she participates in a short interview to make sure telemedicine is appropriate. If so, a SwiftMD doctor calls the employee back within an hour. If not, we provide treatment recommendations. Occasionally, it is necessary to recommend a visit to a primary care or specialist physician, or even a trip to the ER.
