Pink Eye

Conjunctivitis is a very common infection of the eyes. Often called Pink Eye, it may be caused by allergies, viruses, or bacteria. Conjunctivitis occurs when the conjunctiva of the eye gets inflamed. Symptoms may include irritation, itchiness, pain, discharge, burning, crusting in the morning, and pink or redness in the eyes. It may be one or both eyes.

Our physicians will be able to diagnose and direct you regarding your symptoms. Conjunctivitis can often be cured with prescription eye drops. When necessary, on rare occasions, you may be directed to seek an in-person evaluation by an ophthalmologist. We are available 24/7 for you.
